Red Interior Light Conversion Kit Volvo FH4/5

With this model-specific kit for the roof lights in Volvo FH4 and FH5, you also get red interior lighting controlled by the original dimmer, instead of only white light as standard.

Note: 2 kits are required per truck, one for the left roof light and one for the right roof light.

To avoid cutting into the original wiring during installation, we recommend using the “adapter for conversion kit”, see recommended accessories. Note: You also need 2 of these adapters per truck.

Quick and easy installation. Remove the roof light from the ceiling and remove the lens from the lamp. Remove the old LED light sources and then click the new ones into place.

The new LED light sources have 3 cables:

Black: Negative
White: Positive for white light
Red: Positive for red light

The black and white cables are spliced into the cables in the ceiling. Alternatively, purchase the “adapter for conversion kit” to avoid cutting into the original wiring. See recommended accessories. 1 adapter is required per lamp.

The red cable is connected to positive on an already existing red LED lamp in the truck. You will then get both red and white light in the roof light via the original dimmer.
