Adapter for Control Signal from Red and White Light via Original Dimmer. This adapter allows you to control additional lighting, such as LED strips or other light sources, without the need to cut or splice into the original wiring. The adapter easily connects between the truck's existing connector and a lamp with red/white light.
Function and Connection:
The adapter features two signal cables (red and white), each 5 meters long, that provide control signals for the respective light color.
Red cable: Signal for red light
White cable: Signal for white light
The cables should be connected to a dimmer (item 2701600, see recommended accessories), as newer Volvo trucks have limited power output from the original wiring. One dimmer per color is required. If only one color control is needed, a single dimmer is sufficient, and only one cable should be used.
The loose cables are sealed and must be cut off before use. The seal is provided to prevent short circuits if one of the cables is not used.
