This wiring harness is developed by us at 2525 for easy installation of auxiliary light bars on Volvo FH4 and FH5 trucks with a factory-prepared connector for auxiliary lights in the grille.
A unique feature of this harness allows you to change the position light color without the need to install a relay, mount a switch, or run extra cables. On the side where the auxiliary light bar connects, there is a 4-pin DT connector, designed for light bars with dual-position lights (e.g., white and amber).
On the other end, there are two connectors for connection to the truck’s grille connector. By simply switching between these connectors, you can select either white or amber position light (provided your auxiliary light bar supports these colors). No additional wiring to the cabin is required.
A protective cap is included to cover the unused connector. When installing two auxiliary light bars in the grille, a Y-splitter Deutsch DT 4-pin (art. 2121604) is required to obtain two connectors at the end of the harness.
