Reflector Light for Roof High Beam Scania NextGen 2023+
LED light plates designed to create a stylish light in the roof-mounted high beam reflector on Scania Next Generation from model year 2023 onwards. Mounted on top of the existing LED insert and illuminates the entire reflector. This kit includes 2 light plates, 1 for each side.
The LED insert is available as single-colour, dual-colour and with strobe/warning light.
Single-colour – Xenon White / Warm White / Amber / Yellow
Each light plate has a 3 metre cable that should be connected to, for example, a position light or alternatively to a switch if you want to be able to turn the reflector light off. There is one positive and one negative wire.
Dual-colour – Xenon White & Amber or Warm White & Amber
Each circuit board has a 3 metre cable. There is one negative wire and two positive wires. You should never have both colours on at the same time, so you need to use a rocker switch to switch between the colours.
Negative/ground: Brown wire
Positive for white position light: White wire
Positive for yellow position light: Green wire
Strobe Light & Dual-colour – Xenon White & Amber with Strobe or Warm White & Amber with Strobe
The LED insert has a 6 metre cable with M8 connectors, which connect to the included control unit. The control unit manages the two colours and automatically switches them off when the strobe/flashing light is activated.
The control unit itself has a 3 metre cable and 5 wires:
Grey: Ground/negative (-)
White: Positive (+)
Blue: Yellow DRL/position light (+)
Brown: Strobe light (+)
Black: Greeting function (+)
Installation:
The lamp is easily opened by removing all screws on the back of the heat sink.
The original insert should remain in place, but the screws holding it in place should be removed. The included spacers are placed between the original insert and our LED inserts. The screws are then used to fasten everything together.
The cables are then routed through the lamp. This can be done by drilling a hole, or alternatively by routing the cable through one of the ventilation holes on the back.
