Excerpt from TSFS 2023:36:
Cargo extending laterally beyond the vehicle must be marked at the front and rear with width marker signs. The outermost edge of the signs in the horizontal direction must not be positioned inside the outermost edge of the cargo. In the longitudinal direction of the cargo, the signs must be placed before or on the part of the cargo causing the width overhang.
