A construction with large flat pins and solid contact surfaces. These are automatically cleaned every time they are connected and disconnected. The pins are made of brass, which provides good resistance to oxidation. The outer casing is made of impact-resistant fiberglass-reinforced polyamide.

Contacts in the SAL (Sealed and Locked) design are equipped with a locking hook and special seals.
